This weekend was a blast! After many cancelled out-of-town trips and postponed Friday-night parties, my barkada and I finally got together on another summer outing, this time in Moalboal.
I chose the venue, of course. 😀 I did not choose wrong.
Great background, amirite?
For those who are not familiar with the place, Moalboal is a town far south of Cebu province and is one of the most visited beach spots this corner of the Philippines (did I say that right? 😳 ).
To get there, you can take a V-hire (short for van for hire, duh) from Cebu city’s Citilink (not sure of the spelling) for only P100 pesos. The ride lasts for about 2 1/2 hours. Once you arrive in Moalboal, you can either shop for your own food or buy from one of the local restaurants and karinderias by the beach. I say just buy from the restaurants; it’ll save you the trouble of preparing and cooking food. Hehe. Gives you more time to enjoy the scenery and the sea.
That’s what we did! 😛
Like any good ole summer escapade, we also did a little stargazing. *sigh*
We hit a few irks here and there: rashes, parasites, stubborn dogs, an aggressive little blue fishie, and one SUPER HOT ULTRA SIZZLING SUN! sheeesh!
But hey, what’s summer without a little tan 😀
There’s nothing more I can say except, “HELL YEAAAAH!” 😀
Oh and by the way, I said yes! 😉
